This proposal deals with the study of zeolite and magnesium sulfate thermochemical reservoirs for long-term storage implantation possibilities in São Paulo. The project motivation relies on the current low exploitation rate (the inefficacy of the heated water reservoirs on the low solar radiation days), as well as relies on the constant increase of the fossil fuel prices (even beyond its reckless usage environmental implications). As an initial approach, a depth-in study about solar radiation availability is proposed, as it is about the current technologies in the field of the long-term thermochemical storage (still being developed) applicability for the city in subject. As the main objective, long-term reservoir size dimensioning is proposed. The project also concerns about the reservoir's integration with the parabolic dish collector and with the whole water heating system of a building.
