Abstract

In this project we propose three main topics for investigation. The first one named "Soft theorems" intends to expand our previous work on soft theorems, namely, to perform the same analysis done for graviton scattering but this time to gluon scattering. In the second part within this first project, we propose a novel extension of the newly discovered soft theorems by formulating them to the case of high spin fields on AdS.In the second project we look for an explanation for the emergence of the scattering equations, known to govern the low energy limit of string scattering amplitudes, from the high energy regime of string theory. It has already been noticed that the scattering equations are the same equations that describe the high energy limit of string collisions. However, this phenomenon has not yet been explained. Our goal is to explicitly show that these equations emerge from highly energetic strings through the open/closed string duality, which is known to link the high with the low energy limits of string physics. Finally, for the studies of AdS2 back-reaction models, we would like to extend previous results in the literature in two directions. First, we would like to include bulk loop corrections and their effects on the computation of classical correlation functions and, we also wish to explore other models by performing new numerical analyses.
