Abstract

The postdoctoral research aims to conduct an anthropological study on the meanings of disability category, their forms of contemporary management and the linkage between these aspects and dynamics in the sphere of sexuality and rights, in the production of erotic conventions and care, especially in the context of the sex trade and called sexual assistance for the disability people. Specifically, I intend to look at the ways that these joints take when considering trading limits and moral dissent in relation to the experience of disability, the affective-sexual experience and markers of social difference. I intend to revisit two networks of contacts already accessed during exploratory field work in the city of São Paulo that include ethnographic observation, documentary research, literature and conducting in-depth interviews.
