Abstract

This research come up with a comparative study of the architecture of Valentim's house, design of the architect Marcos Acabaya; and of the Roland Reisley House, a project of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. We assume the hypothesis that the organic architecture from Wright permeates Marcos Acabaya`s works, not with explicit influence, but like a base for the pioneers and originals solutions of the brazilian architect. For it, the research starts with a study of Wright`s works, identifying the principles of the organic architecture, your influences in the Brazilian Modern Architecture and, hence at the Acabaya`s work. Objectively, a comparative analysis of the architecture from both residences, will show the relevance of the hypothesis detaching different and commons aspects in the architectonic party and in the tectonic and modulate solutions of the projects. This research project is part and application of the instructor`s search, meaning to discuss and present methods, reading and analysing criteria of the architecture designs, seeking to check how the sistematic reading of the blueprint can contribute for the interpretation of the architecture`s work and all the projective practices of the architect. Thus the contribuition of this academic research is to investigate some aspects from the consecrated production of one paradigmatic architect for the history of brazilian modern architecture; and also to provide aids for the debate of the tuition related to architecture through the experimentation of methods of graphic analysis of the project.
