Abstract

By conducting research internship abroad, proposes a study on the process of economic restructuring in which Spain has undergone, its relationship with the real estate market and its repercussions on intra-urban space of the city of Lleida (Spain). Analogous to the way research developed in Brazil, the stage will provide enriching elements, mainly due to the current moment of economic growth and its real estate boom in which Brazilian cities face spending, as opposed to the retraction of the Spanish property market. Thus, the comparative analysis of the processes of production of urban space in medium-sized cities of Brazil and Spain will enable the expansion of the analytical perspectives about the scientific debate engendered.
