Abstract

The monitoring of indoor air quality (QIA) is a subject that has been disseminated in current research. The objectives of this research are the development of common methodologies to identify possible pollution at different locations. However, there are few works that develop methodologies in an attempt to mitigate the effects of indoor air pollution. Based on this problem, this paper proposes the modification of commercial filters used in the conditioning of indoor environments with Ag nanoparticles, TiO2 and Ag-TiO2 nanocomposites, and determination of the effectiveness of on eradicating bacteria and fungi (bioaerosols) present in particulate matter in the indoor environments. The parameter that is evaluated in this work is the effect of different biocides on actual tests to be performed. (AU)
