Abstract

This work will understand the study of the use of different carbon sources by fungus Aspergillus nidulans, in particular the cellular signalling for to use glucose. For the accomplishment of this work will be used a library of the strains Aspergillus nidulans with deletions in different phosphatase genes. The phosphatases are enzymes that hydrolyze groupings phosphate of diverse promoters and genic repressors, being, therefore, directly on to the regulation of factors responsible for the use of diverse carbon sources. The main aim of this work will be to understand the possible mechanisms of regulation of modulators of carbon catabolic repression and to study the possible enzyme involved in the regulation of the carbohydrates metabolism.
