Abstract

This work will embrace the necessaries steps to creation of products that make part of a fashion product collection and to conception of carnival fantasies. Will be done a comparative study between the two processes of creation. Contradicting what the much think that the development of a fashion product collection only depends of stylist's creativity, this person base yourself in determined points by a sequence of steps that precede the creation. The search introduces the step of creation and development of collection and of fashion clothing products and development of fantasies for a samba school. This project aims to search what is the steps used by both of segments, of fashions and carnival, in their creative process. After all the bibliographic search, documental, observation and case study, will be done a comparative analysis between the both process. It is intended to clarify the backstage that involve the planning of fashion collection and samba school fantasies, what justifies their importance, and describe each one of these steps, how the collected informations are used during the searches and how they are used in the creative process.
