Abstract

Thanks to the dynamic advance in Radioastronomy has been detected molecules involved in the origin of life have been detected in Space. The discovery of such chemical species opened the door to a recent field: Astrochemistry, that is a multidisciplinary area which main goal is to study the physical and chemical properties of the Interstellar Medium. The study of the chemical evolution of protoplanetary objects is a crucial question to understand the emergence of life in the Solar System. Our main objective, through the ACHEMOS (AstroCHEMistry of our OriginS) proposal, is to perform a chemical characterization in objects that evolve from pre-stellar cores up to protoplanetary disks. This work will be approached from three perspectives: observational, experimental and theoretical. Thus, joining the competence of a network of collaborators, we will use observatories and laboratories such as IRAM and LNLS in order to implement the proposed methodologies. Due to the multidisciplinary character of the proposal, it is expected that the results will cause a broad repercussion into the scientific community. The results will be disseminated in a series of publications in journals of high impact, as well as in regional and international conferences and workshops. The proposal also includes educational activities; through the (co)orientation of thesis work, we expect to teach and to expand the state-of-the-art of ACHEMOS. Activities such as popular talks and release of news associated to ACHEMOS will be done inorder to approximate our work to the society. (AU)
