Abstract

In this project we propose to develop a mixed integer programming model to treat a lot sizing and scheduling problem in a chemical industry. To solve the problem, MIP- based heuristics as relax-and-fix and fix-and-optimize will be developed. All solution methods will be tested using real data of the industry and generated data. The results will be reported in scientific articles.
