Abstract

Teachers and other education professionals have shown a gap in their education with regard to the themes involving sexuality and sex education. Learn about these issues is part of the rights of man, and the school is a useful place to achieve them, as it is at school that students will build their individual and group identities, and can also exercise the right and respect for differences. One of the reasons why this education has not happened, is the lack of training of the disseminator of knowledge, ie, teachers and other education professionals. One way to meet this need with respect to training in sexuality is through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that support virtual learning communities and provide resources and tools that can help to remedy / mitigate the difficulty with this. This paper aims to map the distance courses of initial and continuing education using ICTs as refuse, that exist in Portugal, and then do compared to what has been done in Brazil. The methodology is qualitative, bibliographic nature. Seeks to ascertain the framework and the context in which these courses are designed and implemented; know its peculiarities, goals, which have been worked on each one of them and see if there are similarities and differences between the programs of Brazil and Portugal, and what they are.
