Abstract

This study aims to compare the final results of the cylindrical grinding steel process when lubrication and cooled by conventional technique and MQL (minimum quantity of lubricant). The cutting fluids, and are made up of substances that pollute and degrade the environment and the lives of people working in contact with it, disposal costs have become very high. Under these conditions, the use of the MQL is necessary to reduce the number of contamination and generating efficiency of production. However, you must ensure that the final quality of the grinding process using the minimum amount of lubricant technique can match the output quality when using the conventional method. This way you can verify that the MQL is efficiently replaced the continuous application of technical.
