Abstract

This academic work is constituted from the following research problem: How interdisciplinarity comes in official curriculum and practice of Sciences Area teachers of Nature and Mathematics public High School of São Paulo? The research aims to analyze interdisciplinarity from the interfaces between official curricula and praxis of Natural Science and Mathematics teachers in the context of a public school in São Paulo School of integral education. To do this, the following specific objectives we have: identify the recommendations provided by official curricula and curricular materials of high school on interdisciplinarity; characterize perceived challenges and perspectives in teacher practice of interdisciplinarity in the curricular organization of a São Paulo public high school in a full education; recognize didactic and pedagogical strategies present in curricula (prescribed, presented and practiced) that enables an interdisciplinary approach; identify interdisciplinary actions during the pedagogical meetings of teachers Sciences area of nature and mathematics. This is a qualitative research on ethnographic nature of education with the following actions: desk reviews (official curricula, curriculum materials and molded school curricula); observations (classes, educational meetings); semi-structured interviews (educators).
