Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this post-doctoral project is to analyze the changes in contemporary perspectives of biographical and autobiographical production in the history of psychology. More than producing a classification of trends in the production area, the proposal is to determine the components of the new forms of biographical and autobiographical narrative in psychology, with special attention to the reconstruction of the life of the so-called "great men" of science and the new biographical and autobiographical production hitherto excluded individuals in the official history of psychology and women, blacks and psychologists coming from peripheral countries considered. With this, the project also aims to understand how such changes are integrated into the broader framework of theoretical and methodological changes in the biographical and autobiographical narrative in the historiography of the history and the history of science, and also the likely impacts of this production in the formation of identity and consciousness historical psychology as a science and profession.
