Abstract

The project aims to analyze and interpret the intertextual dialogue of the poet and critic Mário de Andrade with the Brazilian and French Parnassians, materialized in his readings and his margin notes, a dialogue reflected in his published and unpublished work, as well as his epistolography. It will culminate in the essay, the thesis that will rely on a second goal: the establishment of subsidies for analysis, by record and classification of Mário de Andrade's margin notes in Parnassian poetry, related tasks, also, to the diffusion of this resource material in a CD- Rom. The research , by working the connections of Mário de Andrade , known for the society as modernist, with the Parnassianism, unveil a facet of the writer yet not visited directly by the critics. (AU)
