Abstract

This paper analyzed the economic viability of production based on agroforestry, organic and conventional systems, centered on case studies at Ibiúna and Iperó (São Paulo). The used methodology was the economic viability of projects and considered analyzing the cost structure and outcome from the production units, indicator for economic viability of projects, total productivity factors and the profitability and productivity ratios between three analyzed systems. One of the most important results has shown that the substitution of land, capital and labor production factors were imperfect and it brings also social consequences.
