The aim of the project is to investigate properties of hadrons and QCD matter using holographic methods based on the gauge/string duality. Specific interests are hadronic interactions of charmed hadrons with ordinary hadrons like protons, neutrons and pions, and their behavior in a strongly interacting medium as the quark-gluon plasma.
