Abstract This project proposes the growth and characterization of thin oxide films with the perovskite structure by means of Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) technique, mostly applied to ferroelectric and multiferroic materials. The main objective is to find the best growth conditions and thicknesses that optimize the electric polarization properties of these films. The optimum conditions found along this project, will be used in future proposals in the growth of devices, where an electric field will be used to control the transport properties of complex oxides heterostructures. | |
