This project seeks to determine the issues to be addressed in research outside of Brazil. To deepen our understanding of the need to involve, in Spinoza's politic, the concepts of conflict and resistance, we plan to open a more explicit dialogue with Machiavelli - for whom the constitution of the politic is permeated by essential conflicts to freedom - and from there to analyze and expand conceptually in terms which necessarily the multiple constitution of the political body requires and produces certain forms of conflict and resistance.
