Abstract

The relationship between Behavior Analysis (BC) and technology is not new. Skinner from the beginning took advantage of this relationship to develop creative solutions that shaped the course of the science studied by him. He also always stressed the need of behavior analysts engaging in social and cultural matters, although until most recently, this field was relatively neglected by the majority of researchers in the field. Those who take over the challenge face the demand for solutions to social problems involving technological tendencies that are not limited by factors such as space and time. Social networks are inserted in this context. The number of users in these kinds of networks grows by the day, and so does the time spent connected to them. These networks come up as tools that offer solutions to problems discussed by renowned authors in the area. This study aims to a deeper understanding of the interactions in social networks from the perspective of the three-term contingency, so that, with this basis, social networks can be proposed as an extremely useful tool in the planning of cultural practices.
