Abstract This research aims to find materials about four theater shows of three pieces of Carlos Alberto Soffredini and analyse them. The shows are: A Vida do Grande Dom Quixote de La Mancha e do Gordo Sancho Pança - 1976; Vem Buscar-me que Ainda Sou Teu - 1979; Na Carrêra do Divino - 1979 and 1986). From the analysis of these shows (to be held from several primary materials such as reviews, photos, films, programs, etc.), interviews with artists, a layout of the critical reception of these works and the intersection with the main theoretical studies of the area, I want to point out the Soffredini's aesthetic features, from texts to scene, searching to reaffirm the hypothesis that the aesthetic look for Brazilian popular culture is a rich field for the artist of the scene. | |
