Abstract This project addresses a subject of increasing projection in Political Science and International Relations literature: Science Diplomacy. The objective of this project is to uncover the issues states choose to treat with Science Diplomacy strategies: whether bilateral and regional or global, multilateral and systemic. The hypothesis is that there is an association between scientific and technological development and the choice of Science Diplomacy as a strategy to address global and multilateral issues. The methodology is the Qualitative Comparative Analysis, a comparative approach that combines qualitative and quantitative elements. | |
