Abstract

The notion of kinds of weather still constitutes a significance obstacle in Climatology, specially the Brazilian’s, because there is no a clear definition. The objective is to make a theoretical discussion and to suggest a classification of kinds of weather present in the city Presidente Prudente - SP based on data obtained in ''Júlio de MesquitaFilho'' Estadual Paulista University's weather Station - College of Science and Technology of Presidente Prudente (FCT/UNESP), in the period between march 2013 and February 2014, looking for complementing the previous studies.
