Abstract

This research is part of the research in progress, titled Jorge de Sena and the dialectic refusal to Pessoa simulation. Its goal is to deepen the understanding of the possibles relationships between the poetics of Jorge de Sena and Fernando Pessoa, based on research in the estate of Jorge de Sena, deposited in the National Library of Portugal. Due to the recent publications Poetry 1 and Poetry 2 (Guimarães Editores, 2013 & 2015), volumes that bring together Sena´s poetry edited and unpublished in book form, the core of this research will consist of his diaries and poetry books. The stage also provides for the realization of a comprehensive survey of works that have previously examined the subject indicated, aimed at enriching the reflections developed in the context of this dissertation. Such an investigation will be based on the collections of the National Library of Portugal and the University Library John Paul II, in Catholic University of Portugal. Finally, an interview will be held with the researcher Jorge Fazenda Lourenço, one of the leading scholars of Jorge de Sena's work, and responsible for the research stage in Portugal. (AU)
