Abstract

In this Ph.D. project, the intention is to adapt existing models to meet the reality of companies with several machines working in parallel and develop fast solution methods to provide solutions in reasonable time. In particular, it intends to address strategies based on math-heuristics due to the encouragement found in the literature and the fact that the candidate has developed efficient proposals to their master's degree to solve a lot-sizing problem with multiple plants.
