Abstract

In this project we propose the growth of oxides films with the perovskite structure by means of pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique, with particular attention to the growth of ferroelectric and multiferroic materials. Our main goal is to find the growth conditions and thicknesses that optimize the electrical polarization properties of these films. These optimal conditions obtained along this work will be used on the continuation of this project to develop devices where an electric field will be employed to control the transport properties of complex oxides heterostructures.
