Abstract

Given that demand for energy in electrical systems continually grows, the need to expand and control the transmission and distribution efficiently, to reduce their losses and better serve the security with consumption are essential for systems engineering. In this sense, this project aims to study power flow calculation methods is a primary tool to assist the management of electrical systems. In particular, this project proposes to explore and develop algorithms for solving nonlinear algebraic systems resulting from the application of load flow equations. The strategy will be to investigate various approaches to solving load flow problem from accuracy, speed, and computational cost. To achieve these objectives will be used C ++ programming language since this programming language provides features that make compiled code faster.
