Abstract The aim of this study is evaluate the characteristics of the uterine tissues of sheep Santa Ines in postpartum by ultrasound B mode and Doppler, with emphasis on early diagnosis of reproductive disturbances and assessment of the development and uterine regression postpartum. History will be made, physical and obstetric examinations and complete blood counts in 30 sheep. Sonographic evaluations will be performed with the MyLab " 30 VET player with transducers (5.0 to 7.5 MHz) high resolution via transrectal and transabdominal. The postpartum uterine structure of the sheep monitoring will be held in: immediate moment (first day postpartum) and sequentially every 48 hours for thirty days. Hysteroscopy and biopsy will be performed in the immediate postpartum period and then every six hours until total cervical involution. Histological evaluation will elucidate the existence of inflammatory processes during uterine involution. The completely randomized experimental design is being used and a significance level of 5% for all tests. | |
