Abstract

The Winnicott's psychoanalysis allows a different look for patients with specific characteristics, especially those who have a feeling of emptiness, meaninglessness and unreality. Regarding these, Winnicott posits the concept of false self, which we propose to reflect because of its usefulness in clinical practice. We seek to explore what has proposed psychoanalytic clinic for the care of patients who fall into this situation. Such research will be through a systematic review, so qualitative and quantitative, arranging in tables the findings in journals and thesis, observing whether and how the concept has been used in Brazilian literature.
