Abstract

Cardiovascular disease, such as myocardial infarction has been an interest of metabolomics and proteomics field, manly for better comprehension of pathologic process associated to therapeutic strategies. Metabolic profile and proteins have been altered after administration of drugs, which are involved in cellular signalization. These profiles contribute for comprehension of the pathology evolution and the pharmacokinetic effects of statins and antiplatelet used for infarction treatment. After ticagrelor administration, patients has presented alteration of adenosine concentration. Thus, the focus of this project is develop a methodology of sample preparation and adenosine quantification in blood of infarcted patients after four therapeutic strategies. In addition, the adenosine concentration will be associated to differentials proteins founded in the same sample, to propose metabolic routes, which can be associated to the patients treatment evolution with the therapies evaluated.
