Abstract

This project is submitted for purposes of applying for BEPE scholarship for internship and research abroad. This experience abroad will contribute significantly to my doctoral research which is being carried out with support from FAPESP scholarship resources. The internship will be conducted between November 2016 and June 2017, at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), under the supervision of Professor Denis Laborde. During the internship, various activities will be held at the EHESS. I will take courses offered by the university, and I will participate in academic events, seminars and meetings at major European research centres of anthropology of music, anthropology of performance, and anthropology of death.
