Abstract

The present project is fruit of a research, in level of scientific initiation, which investigated "unfolding of the poetry", procedure used by Murilo Mendes for the representation of the world in war in the book Poesia Liberdade (1947 [2003]). "Unfolding" referred to a series of interrelations between the aesthetic plan of the poem and the thematic, approaching the music, of the painting and of the own language, in search of its liberating character. Our objective, in this project, is to develop an analysis on the book Parábola (1959 [2003]), of Murilo Mendes, with the intention of verifying as certain procedures, noticed in the previous research, they grow, that is, we sought to understand as the poet, in Parábola, thinks about the essence of the language, which becomes the way we can represent the world "from the dust" and to contemplate on the history, the politics and the society - and the reciprocal interaction between these terms among those terms through a poetic construction in that the power of the language acts as a threshold capable to name the horror. The theoretical framework of our reading will be based on Michel Collot (2004), Alfonso Berardinelli (2007) and Walter Benjamin, considering in relation to this last one: the reflections of the trauma due to the experience in the war (1933 [2014]), the vision of History and the importance of the remembrance in the theories "Sobre o Conceito da História" (1940 [2014]), the construction of spaces/times thresholds (1927-1940 [2007]) and the subjects "sobre a linguagem em geral e sobre a linguagem do homem" (1916 [2013]).
