SummaryThe object of this project is a research internship at the University Paris 1, as proposed in the postdoctoral working plan reviewed by Fapesp. Therefore, it is part of the ongoing postdoctoral project, which examines ethics from the perspective of Merleau-Ponty's thinking using as starting points (i) the meaning the philosopher gives to the philosophic work, and (ii) the ideas of coexistence and common world he uses in all his work. Our thinking is therefore oriented towards the conceptual basis of an ethics understood from Merleau-Ponty's thinking. Research we have undertaken in this direction has taken us to an indirect ethics - related to the philosopher's indirect ontology - i.e. without an a priori justification and of pre-reflexive nature. The roots of the commitment horizon that characterize this ethics are found in (i) the coexistence opened by the sensitive and (ii) the personified thought - hence unachieved. We would like to dedicate the postdoctoral research internship in Paris to the study of the articulation between these questions.Key words: Merleau-Ponty, ethics, coexistence, sensitive, common world.
