Abstract

This paper aims to verify the registers of the introjections of the whiteness ideal in the inner constitution of black women who are victims of domestic violence. Few researches have called into question the appropriation of the black body as an element of psychic suffering and narcissistic imbalance. The relevance of these studies is the comprehension of how the introjection of this racism model helps the attempt of embodying the black ethnical-racial group into the dominant. Racist violence subtracts from the subject the possibility of exploring and extracting all the infinite potential of creativity, beauty and pleasure that he/she is able; gender violence is added to that in case of the black women. The scientific methodology of this research is divided into two stages. The first is a review of some Freudian texts to explore the concept of ego ideal. The second account has a semi-structured interview through of which three axes will be investigated: the first, how the participants see themselves; the second, how they see the blackness on the other (family and strangers) and third axis, the domestic violence. According the obtained data in this procedure, analysis categories (Bardin) will be made from the speeches of the participating women, looking at this, construct narratives that allow a view of the proposed objectives.
