Abstract

The Interactions between conductive polymers and inorganic nanoparticles can lead to new optical and catalytic properties in the resulting nanohybrid. Herein, we will focus in this project on the synthesis and characterization of nanohybrids composed of noble metals (Au, Pt, Ag) or metal oxides (NiO, magnetite) and conducting polymers, in which their optical and electrocatalytic properties will be combined for applications in electrochemical sensors, and electrochromic and biomedical devices.
