Abstract

This project proposes to research the origins of Butoh, studying especially the death as a theme in the work of Tatsumi Hijikata, one of the main references, along with Kazuo Ohno, the creation of this scenic expression. The study maintains bibliographic studies and filmografics of works produced by Hijikata and its commentators. It is expected to synthesize the results of research in the form of a final scientific report, as well as in creating a scene. (AU)
