Abstract

The research main objective is to understand which factors explain Argentinian and Brazilian Foreign Policy to the United States changing movements and how these movements were expresses in international security field, with a focus in the 21 century first decade. The systemic and the domestic levels of analysis will be taken into consideration, in order to identify both the domestic and the international sources of Foreign Policy. To understand the domestic sources it will be necessary to analyze the social relationships and the differences between political programs. Concernig the international aspect, it will be necessary to analyze USA Foreign Policy and the changes in the international system. Besides, it will also be necessary to contextualize historically, in order to understand change as processes. The research will make use of different material, such as official documents, think tank analyses, diplomats and militaries analysis, and interviews. (AU)
