Abstract

This proposal for a research internship abroad aims to deepen and broaden the theoretical and methodological character of the research developed during the last 16 months of a FAPESP scholarship research on a set of films produced by Brazilian cinema between the years 1968 and 1972. The objectives of our proposal can be summarized as follows: participation in a seminar given by the teacher Dr. Vicente Sánchez-Biosca, supervisor of our internship at the University of Valencia; to deepen in the relationship theoretical-methodological with regard to film analysis for the study of social relations; accomplish research in the archive of the Film Library of the Valencian Institute of Cinematography (IVAC) to get in touch with the restoration sector of the institution and the library specialized in cinema that they have focused on the historical perspective of the images.
