Abstract

In the last decades, terrorism and refuge have been more and more popular in the international scene. On one side, terrorism which after September 11 became one of the biggest threats that the states have been trying to eradicate. On the other, the refuge that today counts with the amount of 21,3 millions of refugees. These terms are many times interlaced and wrongly attributed. The misuse of these terms implies on the dissemination of injustices and prejudices that affects negatively the welfare of human beings who are in refugee conditions. The terrorism does not come from refuge but refuge does come from terrorism and other calamities which the greed of the world diffuses. Therefore, this research's goal is to demonstrate the mistakes that surround this issue through an analysis of electronic news present in online versions of European and North American newspapers as well as several theorists' bibliographic sources that serves as an argumentative and exploratory basis for analyzing the concepts and refugees' phenomenon, immigration and terrorism.
