Abstract

This research project aims to contribute to the creation of a new database on tax policy reform in Brazil with a focus on how changes in these tax policies have influenced the fiscal situation of Brazilian states. The project will also seek to analyze how voters in different states understand and react to tax policy reforms using public opinion data. The final results of this project will be the creation of a new database that will contribute to CEPESP's ongoing research on the fiscal policies of Brazilian states since the transition of democracy to the present.
