The project seeks to problematize the contrast between the position of opinion makers who publish in the Brazilian media and the opinion of the country's population regarding its relationship with Venezuela between the years 2010 and 2014. This analysis will be developed from the comparison among the surveys carried out by the thematic research project "Brazil, the Americas and the World", involving public and political leaders and opinion articles on foreign policy linked in the periodicals Folha de S. Paulo, O Estado de S. Paulo, O Globo and Economic Value collected by the Observatory of Foreign Policy in the Press of the Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP). (AU)
