Abstract

The aim of this project is to investigate the effects of hydride and dehydration processes on the properties of Ti-Nb-Zr and Nb-Ti powder alloys and the relationships between these properties and the variables of the milling process by Jet Mil. The research intends to find the best parameters to produce the alloys powders to be used at selective laser melting according to the specification: particle size range (10 to 45 ¼m) and to avoid oxygen pick ups.
