Abstract

The development of new environmentally correct technologies for the formation of C-C bonds a highly relevant topic for scientific society. In this view the multicomponent reactions are methodologies of great interest for their ability to generate multiple bonds in the presence of conditions that follow the principles of green chemistry. Regarding the CERSusChem interests this project proposes the development of a new organocatalysed technology for synthesis of enantiomerically pure aziridine aldehydes and their applications in Ugi and Petasis multicomponent reactions for obtaining chiral bioactive molecules.
