Abstract

The following project aims to develop and share a new model of digital inventory of historical data integrated to the Construction Information Model. The research question to be addressed is: How a Historial Building can be benefited by systems based in Information Technology and Comunication (ITC), with the goal to lever the process of its maintenance, conservation and restoration? The hypothesis of a new inventory model, based on ITC to create an In-depth Repository of Digital Data (IRDD) to historical building, can provide a better base for the management process of related data with the historical construction, aiming to improve its performance, funcionality and quality to be tested with and its potencial explored. With that in mind, this project contemplates:(a) Analysis of existing tools to capture spacial data in situ; (b) The use of computacional tools (commercial applications e/or open source) to merge imagens and cloud points; (c) The creation of a 3D building representation, Semantically enriched, based on Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. The project will promoted the comprehension of the ITC applied to the conservation and restoration of historical building promoting the enhancement of the reverse engineering process to create 3D models semantically oriented of the present conditions of the building, that are the IRDD base. This research project is bound to the regular research aid, Programa eScience FAPESP "A structure to integrate multisensor data with the construction building information modelling in support with the conservation and maintenance of the heritage", process 2016/04991-0.
