The present proposal for Visiting Researcher Program (BPE) is based on the project "Collective dimensions of Occupational Therapy actions ", to be developed at Griffith University, Australia, from July/2018 to March/2019. The project is part of our research field of Social Occupational Therapy, in which the proponent carries out her investigations and academic supervisions in post-graduate Program. The proposal stems from previous research projects that point to the dimension of professional actions aimed at collectives as a field that demands greater depth and theoretical developments. It is proposed to study the epistemological bases of collective action in occupational therapy intervention, having the experiences of Brazilian social occupational therapy and practices in Australia as object of study. The following steps are planned: a) a bibliographic review; b) analysis of experiences in Social Occupational Therapy developed in Brazil; c) interviews with occupational therapists in Australia, specifically with who are involved in community/social practices, seeking to know the practices and the possibilities of collective action; d) survey of analytical categories. It is hoped to contribute with the discussion of professional actions aimed at the collective care, as well as to deepen academic partnerships for the Brazilian occupational therapy area in the international scope.
