Abstract

This project seeks to analyze the existence of conceptual, political and aesthetic transits between the performances of the following artists: Iole de Freitas, Letícia Parente, Ewa Partum, Dóra Maurer, Martha Rosler and Adrian Piper, so that it is possible to understand the importance of body for the production of a transgressive discourse in feminist art in the 1970s and 1980s, linked to public and intimate spaces, as well to understand the dialogues between different manifestations of feminist art, relating them to their local contexts.
