Abstract

Leisure is essential to people, especially to those who work and need free time for rest. Due to this, the objective of this study was to diagnose the equipment and leisure activities of company clubs, and compare the true focus of the leisure and recreation structure. The objects of study will be the Ford and General Motors club, located in São Bernardo do Campo - SP. It will be done through the application of questionnaires to both club employees and visitors, with a qualitative research. Often clubs can often target only economic issues rather than employees, so it is sought to identify if there are recreational activities done on site and their efficiency, as well as the frequency of automobile workers in clubs. It is intended with the results achieved after the research, to contribute to the use of this methodology for later studies, for information regarding the worker and leisure, based on a historical context.
