Abstract One of the most significant and demanding part of the ARAPUCA project concerns the development of the front-end electronics for the SiPMs. The area of a single SiPM is typically very small, below 1 cm2 , and it is mandatory to build array containing tens of them to reach a reasonable sensitive area and to prevent an unuseful proliferation of electronic channels. This poses serious problems connected to the power supply of the device and to its proper calibration. (AU) | |
