Abstract

Introduction: Ovary neoplasia has a difficult and different diagnosis, because this organ has a difficult place for being reached. Besides that there aren't specific symptoms related neoplasia growth, with are mistaken symptomatology of others pathologies gastrointestinal and reproducer. At the and, for epithelial tumors biomolecular markers are used the CA125 is the main marker with is not very effective as a trace exam which can occur inespecific rises. That's why it is clear the necessity for an accurate diagnosis to define the best treatment and avoid a late diagnosis. Objectives: This research has the aim evaluate the role of between the CA125/CEA diagnosis ovary tumors and other abdomen tumors. Role between different histologys of primary ovary neoplasia. Evaluate the behavior of the equation of CA125/CEA in the different diagnosis between primary neoplasias e metastatic ovarian. Material and Methods: This study with a sample of 500 patient treated at the Hospitals of Cancer in Barretos, Rondonia e Jales. It will be included patients between 18 and 80 years-old with diagnosis of pelvic tissue carcinomatosis our ascite. Analysis will be done with 500 medical records of patients, gathering demographic data, diagnosis pre-operating data, pos-operating data. At last, check the most important fact comparing the role of CA125/CEA with the primary origin of ovary tumor. After collecting this data will be stored at REDCap. (AU)
