Abstract

Six 6 ruminally cannulated beef heifers arranged in a 6 x 6 Latin square with a 2 x 3 factorial arrangement of treatments to evaluate the effects of forage-to-concentrate ratio, uNDF supply, and the interaction. The main factors will include forage type (barley silage vs. straw) and forage inclusion (low, moderate, high). The low, moderate, and high inclusion levels for barley silage will be (5, 10, 15%) and straw will be used to match the uNDF. (AU)
